Linda FISCHBACH Author
Linda Fischbach is on a mission to encourage art enthusiasts to locate and uncover essential information about art collections all over the world. She is the founder of the blog Art Privée, which lists national and international private art museums, collections, and foundations that are open to the public. Seeing the lack of coverage of small art spaces, Fischbach created the blog in response to the new, creative, and often free ways that collectors are displaying their collections. Having received thousands of emails from individuals with expressed interest in gaining further information on this very topic, armed with a lifelong appreciation for art and an illustrious career, she decided to write a book.
Fischbach has a Masters in Library Science from UCLA, a Masters in Contemporary Art & the Market from Christie's Education, and a Certificate in American Art from Sotheby's Institute. The Guggenheim International Director's Council has lead Fischbach to the most significant private collections and museums in North America, Asia, and Europe. Fischbach was one of the first producers of the HBO groundbreaking documentary "The Price of Everything," which uncovered the complexity and intricacy of the contemporary art market and continues to be passionate about the art world at large. She divides her time between New York City, The Hamptons, and Palm Beach, FL.
